Smile Hello from a new member!

Hi,
I just finally joined in after reading posts on this web site for a long time...
We are sailors on our Westerly Corsair 36 "ODYSSEE" built in 1984.
This summer we sailed across the Atlantic aboard ODYSSEE from Charleston, SC, our home in the US, to Lisbon, Portugal, via Bermuda and the Azores.
We will keep her on the hard near Lisbon for the winter before continuing to the Mediterranean next spring.
We sailed her before to the Bahamas several times; along the US coast to Maine and back; and from Houston, where we used to live, to Charleston where we retired.
We will bw happy to share our experiences with anyone interested.

happy seas!

jmpapon,

Welcome aboard. It's really great to have some new members with sailing experience. Enjoy that "wine dark sea" on your Oddyssee.

Welcome to the site. It is nice to have additional members who have a vast experience to share. We hope you enjoy sailing the Med. We are setting out for the Bahamas later this year or early next year.
