Hello Forum

Hello everyone,

I've used forums for my vehicles before but never for my Sailboats. My dad and I own a 40 foot Cheoy Lee Offshore 40 (Yawl). I also own a 15 foot Canadian Caprice day sailer. I am pretty excited about both of them. My dad and I bought the Cheoy Lee 4 summers ago and we have done a tonne of work to get her where we want. We bought her from a naval engineer who designed and worked on Submarines in the US. Mechanically she was sound, but she really needed an artistic touch so most of our upgrades and work have been cosmetic. Anyways, heres a few pics of the Cheoy Lee, I will eventually get a few up of the CC.

Thanks!

Thanks Mark, I see you're from Hali? I am in my last year of Uni in NB but our boats are in Ontario.

Re: Hello Forum

Arch69CheoyLee, welcome aboard.
You have the offset companionways typical of the original Rhodes Reliant version, as on Bluestocking, hull 1583, built 1965.
Have you visited the site for our boats, run by Ben Stavis.

Re: Hello Forum

Aloha and welcome aboard!
I have pleasant memories of sailing on my friend's Off Shore 41 yawl. Sailed beautifully and looked wonderful.
Congratulations on your boat.
kind regards,
