Re: Hello, eh . . . Looking for a New Home

they live about 20 or so years. awsome critters. they play catch , fetch, walk on leashes , hunt and win, bat goggies a lil when needed just to keep em in line, guard and protect momms...all kinds of good stuff. excellent watch critter-- will watch anything for hours-- but also will come to attention when strangers or to silent approaches -- funny cats. loveys.
bubba's momma was a short hair so his is shorter than most. boo looks more like spozed to look-- with a longer ruff on tummy...

Boo likes to play catch; she is very good at it too. A picture of me will have to wait a bit. I tend to be very camera shy.

Thanks for the wonderful welcome!

bubba is in the gallery also---
The orange nose gives 'em away every time. Bouzy came to me this morning dripping wet. I can't tell if she was playing in her water fountain or the big porcelain bowl. She does not believe me when I tell her salt water feels different. And that she will love it.

They be fun too!
Let Boo know when Bubba comes up the Chesapeake; they might have fun fighting off the bugs.

They be so much fun! Definitely do herd us, for real.

If I make it that far north I will so do.

Ye have to make it down topair a dice! Bring Boo!

I used to call Bubba, Boo and Booboo and some other Boo sounding names before I settled on Bubba. It is a good way to call them. They aren't Kitty Kitty, for sure.

We play catch and fetch all the time. I throw the ugly stick down the hall, she runs as fast as she can to "kill" it, and then brings it back and drops it at my fee to throw it a again. Much better than most of the dogs I've owned.

Re: Hello, eh . . . Looking for a New Home

Thanks all to everyone for welcoming me.
I have been doing boat and marina research for the last couple weeks. Along with a many online reviews about boats and sailing. I am very surprised at how much is returning from it's sea chest about all that. I had forgotten how much I knew about sailing before heading up into the desert around 40 years ago. 'course practice on the water is a 'hole nuther story.

Is fun to relearn the sea.

I did after many years of raising a kid.

Now I stick with kat. Smarter move.
