Hello Crisers

Hello. I am a new sailor. I recently purchased my first boat, an Islander 24 (some assembly required). All of the tackle has been removed. We are cleaning polishing and hopefully figuring out how it goes back together. I'm not really sure how this all happened. One day I say to my son "we should go rent a sailboat. That could be fun" and the next I'm caught up in a full blown obsession. It is quit exciting and the time it takes to refit her is allowing me to learn some of what I need before I find myself at sea. Refitting her is going much more slowly than I had hoped but maybe by the spring.

Hi there Captain Grandpa... Welcome to CF..
I'm sure you'll find answers here if you get stuck... a photo of the problem often helps the analysis when possible..
Thats the thing about boats... they take your time..
