Hello All...

Hello All,

I am new at this forum, and wanted to greet everyone in my first post, while trying to introduce myself very shortly...
I am 57, retired manager/chemical engineer, sailining at South Aegean and East Med for the last 25 years...
I sail a Sadler 32 now, from 1979, very fit and a happy boat...

Wish you all easy winds,
Cheers,

Ali

Re: Hello All...

Hi Ali
Welcome to CF. I have been sailing in the Aegean for a few years now. It is a little slice of paradise here isn't it!
Hope you have many more years of happy sailing.

Re: Hello All...

WOW...

Thanks very much for all those very warm welcomes...
I am very sure of having very nice salty friends out here...
Plus, will have the chance of learning/exchanging many ideas/experiences...

Dear S/W Lass, I had the impression that you are godd wit the cats. I have adopted a Siberian a few years back, but not have him on board yet. I am planing to take him along next week, while making the off-season cleaning/tidying...

Do you kindly have any recommendations, regarding the "cat-on-boat" issue

Salty regards to all...

Ali

Re: Hello All...

Hi Ali
No, sorry, I have never owned a cat.
My only recommendation observing friends with cats, is that they frequently fall overboard (maybe only because they are young and skittish and love chasing each other around the boat). Keep a thick line trailing when at anchor so they can climb on board if they fall in unobserved.
Lots of expertise here though about this. Maybe someone will chime in.
