Hello All

Well hello! I used Cruiser's Forum hot and heavy last summer when I was looking for the sailboat of my dreams (and of my pocketbook). Thanks to all here that discussed and agreed and disagreed on the merits of all the boats I looked at.

I finally found an Albin 34' in Everett, WA that fit everything I wanted. Came out there the end of August to take possession and live-aboard for a week. She sails like a proper lady. Will be moving to the Pacific NW from central Illinois this spring. Looking to eventually be sailing the San Juan's and the Inside Passage.

I grew up around boats, sail and the rest, but never handled anything of this size, so had to learn fast in that week, I took it slow, a step at a time, and at least had enough sense to know when I was getting in over my head!

Hope to be a contributor here as I get something to contribute, like I said this was a very valuable resource when I was looking to buy.

Fair winds,

Wayne

Aloha and welcome aboard!
Congratulations on your new beauty. Good choice on size and style. I really like your wide sidedecks.
