Hello all

I am new to the board. I have this lure to sailing and all I have ever sailed is a sunfish. Plenty of power boat experience. I am looking for a sailboat and hope to learn as much as I can here.

I have been lurking around here for awhile prior to this post.

so again Hello!

Hiya

Nothing wrong with powerboats - am thinking of also getting an old Bayliner for a bit of island hopping, will probably not be able to resist the urge to rename her "T/T Perro"

Aloha TBone,
Welcome aboard!! Good to have you here. Sunfish experience, eh? Well if you can sail a Sunfish you can sail nearly everything. Just have to think on a larger scale and learn about engines, electrical, bone up on rules of the road and you're good to go. Was just out on a Sunfish last week.
Hope you enjoy it here and we don't mind answering questions.
Kind Regards,
JohnL

I am trying to find someone who has a sailboat sitting and doesn't use it anymore to restore. Came across a few just hoping they pan out. I will post them to get opinions on them in the mear future.
