Hello all !!

Hello, We are new to the forum and just wanted to check in and say Hello to all. We are finally starting the countdown till we retire and are going to split our time between our RV and Sailboat. Anyone out there splitting time in this manner? We would be interested in knowing how it is working out?

Welcome Guys,
Sounds like a great idea! For the past few years we've spent our summers on the boat and our winters elsewhere.
I have owned an RV in the distant past - and enjoyed that method of travel also.
The mixture of yacht and RV travel you plan is also what we aim to do when we get over to the US (say 2008).......if you can wait until then I can update you!!
In the meantime - enjoy the countdown.
JOHN

Welcome abaord.

There was a recent thread about splitting time between boat and RV. If you haven't looked through it here is the link

Thanks for the welcome. I think we are both excited knowing that we are finally in our countdown. It's been a long time coming. Neither one of us were trust fund children so it's been alot of hard work to just get to where we are now. It's funny how actually having a timeline attached to our dream has created a sense of assurance, at least for me. We have a date and all those far away places are suddenly not so far away.
