Re: Hello all

Welcome aboard, Dana! During your "two-year" timetable, get as much hands-on boating skills; classes, crewing and charter combination. Besides acquiring sailing skills, learn electro-mechanical/Diesel engine/sails troubleshooting. You will also need to build your seamanship skills. Set small goals, and the rest will come easy. Let's know about your progress. Good luck!

Re: Hello all

Welcome to the community. From your avatar it seems you may already have the boat and time at the helm. Will you be southbound from Canada on the east or west side?

Re: Hello All

Just about everywhere is south of Canada. How far south are you headed?
