Hello
Hello everybody,
I am old but young at heart and seriously thinking of selling up and sailing off. I own a small sports boat at the moment but am planning to swap for sails. I am looking forward to joining in the forums and hope you will give me lots of good advise.

Welcome! And young at heart is YOUNG, so take the 'old' part out!

As with all opinions, you will find some that are good and some that are bad (for you) and this forum has both. I have learned quite a bit from my fellow sailors on this site and I am sure you will do the same.

Selling up and sailing off ... some friends will tell you that you have gone mad, others will say 'dream on' ... from me to you ... it's a SPLENDID idea ... we have done just that and my only wish is that I had done it sooner.
