I prefer to operate behind the scenes as a proverbial lurker, however circumstances have changed where I will be needing the help of the very knowledgeable user base. Thusly, I feel I should introduce myself before I seek your counsel I have been sailing my entire life, 28 yrs, actively raced including offshore, transpac and multiple coastal races, and countless buoy and coastal. My parents have given me the family discount on a J/37 hull #2, which we have had since '95. Yes I know how lucky I am and I thank my dad constantly while at the same time. taking excellent care of the boat.

I will be seeking some advice here soon so thanks in advance for the help.
