After decades of dreaming of sailing am finally about to live the dream. I am a novice but my significant other is an experienced sailor and very patient with me, as I didn't know a halyard from a pulpit. But am learning and eager to know all that I can. We are gunkholing the west central Fl. Gulf waters this summer , and hope to circumn-navigate the Eastern rivers next year. Our boat is small, 28ft but equiped with everything we need for a safe journey. I love reading the forum ,and have learned much from it. I will probably bounce a question now and again if it is ok. We may be old geezers, but are healthy and young at heart.
Here's a pic of our boat. We have named her EOS after the Goddess od Dawn.

Welcome aboard Cabingirl,

It's always good to hear from someone that's living the dream. It's not the size of the boat that makes it all worth while, but the sailing and living.Good luck with your adventure!
