Looks like a great site you have here. I'm not cruising at this time but it will be fun to read about those who are. I have an Irwin 40 I am restoring. I am a marine surveyor in Wilmington, NC. So you're a surveyor. Well, I'm sure there will be plenty of oportunity. For a person, of your job trade could answer certain questions about marine surveyors?

I visited the website that you menitoned in your post. And the Irwin 40 is a very nice vessel!! So at least you don't have to shell out too much money compared to other hurricane damaged sailboats!!

I look forward in reading any future contributions, that may provide here on this forum.

Thanks for the welcome. I have been building and repairing small craft for over 30 years now and will be glad to offer help were I can. I also very some engineering and design background so don't hesitate to ask.
