Hello

Hello,

I am not the best at introductions but being a lurker for well over a year I feel it is only proper now. My name is Jonathan, an East coast native with relatively little to no exprience in sailing, (hope to change that this year.) With dreams of exploring the Pacific in a blue water ketch. I hope in time I can give back to this community as well as contribute my own stories into the Pacific section of this forum.

Thank you for reading

Re: Hello

Welcome aboard Jonathan! Get yerself a fast, fun little boat to learn on and you'll have a blast! You'll be an expert in no time! Everything you learn on a Laser or a Snipe scales up just fine for a Gloucester schooner! Good luck and keep us posted

Re: Hello

Thank you for the encouragement, I am currently working on acquiring my first boat and hope that I can get a little practice in before the great freeze makes the Chesapeake Bay unpleasant to say the least.
