Hello

I recently bought a 28' searaker , planning on fixing her up a little and start wintering where it's warm, gotta learn to sail her first though, looking forward to making friends on this site.

Re: Hello

Hi Bdozz and welcome to the forum.

Your signature line says you're in WI. Is that where you have the boat? If so, it's long way to somewhere warm from there.

Re: Hello

Yes , it's in Port Washington Wi , on lake Michigan right now awaiting a truck ride home , I've gotta replace the cabin sole and give her a good going over before her next launch, hopefully next spring. After that a long ride down the tenn tom to the gulf .

Re: Hello

Welcome here! I have to confess I had not seen a Searaker 28 and had to look it up! Looks like a very good design, good luck and send photos!
