Hello

I am visiting Florida for 3 weeks looking to buy a sailboat, I am about to retire from work and want live on my boat and sail for 6 months in the US then I have to move on due to Homeland rules. Can I sail to Cuba ? people tell me that it is not possible for them to; are non-US sailors subject to this law. I have read this forum for the last 3 months and if anyone can give real advice its you people. Thank you for having me, Blackie

Aloha Blackie,
Welcome aboard! I don't know the answer to your question specifically but my thought is that it would be perfectly ok for you to sail to Cuba depending upon the Cuban attitude toward citizens of the UK. Is there a Cuban embassy you might call just to ask the question?
Kind Regards,
JohnL
