Hello

I see there are a lot of 'new to sailing/cruising' comments. Im in the same boat.

I became the owner of a 76 Cat 27 this past summer and just starting to get my feet wet. I have a couple of great mentors who have taken me under their wings an between last summer and by the end of this summer, I should have the confidence and basic know how to take off on my 6-9 month or until i run out of money first hiatus to the keys and maybe beyond.

Ive got a lot to get done between now and October 15th but looks like I've come to the right place get some great information.

I look forward to being a part of the forum and thanks for having me aboard.

Jay
