Heading to Annapolis this weekend!

Hi All,

My boyfriend and I will be heading to Annapolis to take a look around. We are specifically looking at one boat, but if anyone has suggestions on where to go please let us know!

We are looking for a 27-34ft blue water capable cruiser for <$20,000

Anyone in the area with a boat fitting this (vague) description please let us know!!

Welcome to the forum. Lots of boats for sell in that price range. I go from the left coast of the US to Mexico, so I am sorry I cannot be of much help...fair winds.

Re: Heading to Annapolis this weekend!

Odds are that there will be some racing on the bay this weekend. So you'd do well to find out where the post race events are happening, including crews watching the videos afterwards. And going to said venue, so that you might solicit some tips via word of mouth. As with 100+ regular sailors in one spot, they'll have a lot of leads & ideas between them.

A pub over in Eastport used to be the spot, but check with whoever is hosting this weekend's races. As well as with the local Yacht Clubs, of course. Good luck, & please hoist a hot rum for me

You might check out Ambrosia, listed in the Annapolis and D.C. craigslist and maybe on sailboatlistings.com. Gulfstar, a little larger and a little more money, but might suit...

Head south for the winter! 37' Gulfstar

Owner is still on CF, as far as I know...
