Happy Christmas every one

A very happy holiday, to all Cfers, and a peaceful and enjoyable time over the next few days.

The sign over the door at the airport arrivals said " The greatest christmas present is about to walk through those doors" , so here hoping your family are around you and alls well in the world, even if only for these few days.

I look forward to 2014s debates , on Li batteries, Seaworthy next mathematical conundrum, not to mention her recipes , two of which I just cooked, Coops jokes, Tellie wagtermaker advice, Mainesail exquisite projects, and all the other contributors that make CF great

Enjoy the day and the next few, The duck season look promising , with such a mild autumn, so I foresee a bit of plucking in my future

Dave

Indeed, Merry Christmas to all. Can you dip ducks in warm soapy water and slip the feathers like you do with a chicken? I haven't much duck hunting experience.

Re: Happy Christmas every one

Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress, non-addictive, gender neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced with the most enjoyable traditions of religious persuasion or secular practices of your choice with respect for the religious/secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all.

I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2014, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures and without regard to the race, creed, colour, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wishee.

By accepting this greeting, you are accepting these terms:

This greeting is subject to clarification or withdrawal. It is freely transferable with no alteration to the original greeting. It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for her/him or others and is void where prohibited by law, and is revocable at the sole discretion of the wisher. This wish is warranted to perform as expected within the usual application of good tidings for a period of one year or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first, and warranty is limited to replacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the wisher.

Coops.

Re: Happy Christmas every one

Here is hoping that you all had a good day, filled with good will, food and drink.
I'm holding out to the 11th Jan for Christmas, two days after getting home, and ties in with GF birthday, might save a bit of money. Her fault really, did I really want Robbie Williams latest CD as a Christmas present

I think it is now. I don't think "interwebly" is yet but maybe soon.

Merry everything for 2014.

Re: Happy Christmas every one

I'll throw in my merriment wishes as well....

Hoping all of you guys (and gals) got cool boaty stuff for the holiday....

I love the practicality of simple gifts that we all need, but would be a small fortune if thrown in one cart...

As simple as rigging knife with a "better" marlinspike than the one I have did just that...
