Guess this is where I introduce myself

Mostly interested in sharing information with Gemini Catamaran owners. However I have some sailing experience and will be happy to share/discuss with others mono or multi.

Re: Guess this is where I introduce myself

Welcome. There is a Gemini cat owners group here. I owned one in my late twenties, loved it.

Re: Guess this is where I introduce myself

Thanks for the welcomes. Especially the link to the Gemini Catamarans group. Specifically what I was looking for in this case relates to how the hulls of the gemini are bonded to the fly bridge. I had my Gemini hauled for bottom work and the yard noted a crack running horizontal on both hulls where the bridge deck joins the hull. I instructed them to lightly grind the area and have a look see. What they found at the joint was chalking in a seam covered with bottom paint and slightly below the fiberglass were screw/bolt heads. All this is below the water line. I thought this was a bit unusual. I wondered if anyone has had similar experience or has information relating to the topic.

BTW The boat name is Cool Obsession (named after the previous owners favorite race horse) She is an 1997 Gemini 105m
