Greetings to All, from the New Guy Here . . .

I have been sailing for the last 40 years on three different boats and I live on my P365 ketch in New Rochelle, NY... Looking to retire in two years to sail the Caribbean, in winter and travel across this great land of ours in my RV...
If there is anything I can do to help anyone, please do not hesitate to ask, I have been around the block a few times and maybe, just maybe, I can give some info to someone needing it, as I will be asking for the info when I may need it...

We sailied from Thailand to Trinidad in the company of friends who were sailing on a Pearson 365. They liked their yacht a great deal. My second sailboat was a Pearson 27 Renegade - a nearly bullet proof yacht - really thick fiberglass.

Travelling in the USA in an RV will be fun. While I am in Phoenix earning Freedom Chips, we do a lot of travelling in our pickup truck in the Southwestern USA. When I am in the USA, I don't regard it has my home. It's simply another cruising destination that I am visiting on my never-ending voyage around the world. I would be depressed if I thought that Phoenix was my final destination. But I can live with it being a location from which I can explore the American southwest.

In my work with the Indian Health Service, I just spent last week flying down into the Grand Canyon treating Havasupai indians, and this week, I flew up to Hopi and to Fort Apache.

Even when you are earning Freedom Chips, you can still have an adventure.

Welcome, my parents are "land cruising", finished with the sea after sailing RTW. Maybe you will run into them (uh figuratively speaking)...BTW I think RVs should have names on the sterns just like Boats so we can ID them . Anyways, welcome and have fun.

Thank you for the welcome... Partially correct, I am a line dancer...
I got the name from, but not totally, the name that is, from a book by a woman that had sailed RTW on and old wood boat called the Two Step... So I decided that I liked the name, but did not want to plagiarize totally, so I added the -N to it... I can't remember her first name, but her last name is Carr... Can't remember the name of the book either, you know the first thing to go is your mind!!!

Paul & Sheryl Shard had a boat named Two-Step in their early "Distant Shores" shows (which they've since replaced with a Southerly 49). They had a 1998 book called Sail away!: A guide to outfitting and provisioning for cruising
