Greetings from Turkey

Hi there.

I just registered, and am hoping to get to know some of the people in here.

I am a norwegian guy, 22 years of age, currently staying in Turkey with my wife. Don`t really have much experience when it comes to boats, but given the chance, I would get on the first sailboat going all the way around. Both me and my wife dream about sailing around the world, and hope to do so in not too long. PRoblem is, we are currently waiting for my wife to be allowed into Norway, and until we can both go there, we won`t be able to save up so much money.

but hey, if anyone here knows a kind soul willing to take us on the boat for a few years, we are in! =) We have about 8000 dollars, and no commitments apart from eachother.

see you guys around

Welcome to the forum. There are crewing jobs where You get paid to sail (instead of paying to sail). Your first job may have to be free but after getting a litle experience you should be able to find work rather easy. Try the crewing section on this forum and other crewing sites.

Good luck,
