Cool Greetings from Texas

I am looking into purchasing a sailboat, not an expensive one, but a serviceable one. I love the water and have always loved boats. I lack experience and am reading up on the subject and plan to take a couple of sailing courses. I have looked through this forum and appreciate the fact that there are those out there who take the time to help us newbies. God Bless you for that. I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself to the forum.

Re: Greetings from Texas

Aloha and welcome aboard!
Or should it be a big "Howdy"?
Check out the book recommendation and a couple links after my signature to help you decide which boat you might like. "Start Sailing Right!" is a book I recommend for newbies and if you get a chance its good to take a basic sailing course.
kind regards,
