Greetings from St.Lucia

Hello all, Just wanted to say hi, and hello..

Im ready to sail.. well NOT really..
for the past 6 months I cant stop thinking about my dream and my goal in life, and one of them is to sail the caribbean...

I play on buying a sail boat in 2 years and plan and setting off with this goal.

I dont have any experience with a sail boat but plan on taking sailing lessons..
I am very used to the water and even make state swimming competitions in new york state...

any advise form me?

my dream boat is a Lagoon 421 and i plan on setting sail with it..

Buy a small boat now, and go sailing the bay every weekend. Take some boating and sailing classes. Join a sailing club and go to some races. Good luck.

It's good to have you posting here.
Taking sailing lessons is a great idea and I'd recommend that prior to buying a boat because it will give you more of an idea as to which boat might be best suited for you.
