Greetings From So California

Just would like to say hello to everyone and look forward to reading the many topics written here. I am actually a novice sailor with a cruising bug running through my blood.
My S&S designed Catalina 38,"Awsome Adventure" has been just an awsome boat for me and have enjoyed all the time spent on her so far. So much learning sometimes that I feel like I am trying to drink from a firehose. All The best to everyone. Cheers, Mike

Welcome!

Hi Mike. Welcome to the forum. I am a fellow newbie, but you are one up on me... I don't even have a boat yet! There are some great people posting on here and there is some great advice. I have learned to note the date of the last post to a thread before posting myself just to be certain that what I have to say still has some relevance. At any rate, best of luck!

I love this forum, its great! Try to think of it as small fountains of knowledge. Each one from a different source. Systems, the actual sailing, safety, provisioning, you know what I mean. Whew! That fire hose has analogy has me rolling down the street.

I bet that's a great boat, enjoy.
