Here is Sylvester. He's my favorite buddy.

Recently a neighbor told me that his concern regarding cats at the marina was the "Raccoon Castle" nearby. (His words.) There are two huge stacks of what I think are floating docks (?) tires strapped to wooden docks on land near where I am docked, and apparently a lot of local rodentia live there. To be fair though, when we lived on the farm we constantly had to deal with raccoons trying to mess with the chicken coops, so at least he is familiar with them. I'd like to think he knows better than to mess with them.

And hey, if you ever want free (but inexperienced) crew this Summer, do give me a holler. I am entirely enthusiastic about getting as much sailing time as possible right now.

Looks like a "Happy Cat"!

I'm sure there are many locals that would be more than happy to help crew or get you up to speed on the local sailing! Just ask

I'm a South Sounder, no experience with your locale. But, I'm good at bringing Lunch fix'ns and doing my share of the chores while sailing. Just don't ask me ..... all the terms... I'm a self taught sailor... I've read the books but don't remember the definitions and words and such.

Cheers and it looks like, your Leap, couldn't have worked out better if you had planned it out years in advance!
