Greetings from Palau, Micronesia . . .

My wife Margie and I, were recently adopted by Manta, a '91 Prout Event 34 (first cat). Since she had been a bit neglected and is in need of a lot of tlc, I have been cruising the net searching for yanmar engine parts, batteries and some how to info to hopefully restore her to her former glory.
Having been transplanted here from Hawaii, some 15 years ago, we certainly welcome the challenge, and hope it will help fight the ever present case of rock fever that comes with living in paradise (population of 20k spread out over 450 kilometers.) And, once she is up and running....???? Well, we will see...
Hope to be able to meet many of the members here in this forum, and maybe get some advice and guidance, as we work towards repairing our new/old twin hull Manta.

Alii and Sulang... (Greetings and Thank You - in Palauan)

Dave and Margie

Re: Greetings from Palau, Micronesia...

Welcome Dave and Margie. I use to live on the Big Island for almost 7 years. I'm back on the mainland outfitting Joli' Elle for her next adventures. I've always wanted to visit Palau...Martin

Aloha and welcome aboard!
Good to have you here posting on the forum. Rita and Richard are fellow club members that lived in Palau. They were scheduled to sail back this direction but I haven't heard from them in awhile.
kind regards,
