Getting back out on the water after a short grounding for domestic duties and have been lurking here soaking up the knowledge. Thought it was about time to become visible and sign up.

Currently based on central Queensland coast and planning voyages near and far.

Anyone else about in this part of the world, give me a hoy.

Hi dave - welcome to CF.

I recently upgraded from a 25' Tophat to a Carter 33' - which is moored on the GEorges River next to Botany Bay.

I too have found the forum very useful, particularly in terms of maintenance and all the extra bits and pieces that comes with all the (comparative!) space and speed!

The dream's to head north on the boat, at least for 6 months between jobs - if i can pursuade the wife that is!!
