I just aquired a sailboat through an individual. I have never been sailing in my life, But they needed to get rid of the boat and well, i cant pass up good deals when i see them. Its a 27 foot Yankee. Thats about all i know.
Its got a ton of bells and whistles but needs some TLC. I'm currently in the process of fixing it up. I am really not all that interested in sailing, im more of a motorcycle guy, but i can apreciate the skills it takes to do so. I plan on putting it on the market soon.
It came with two other sails, a Gennaker and another that says "Tartan-10"
They both have numbers on them. Are these numbers boat specific or can the sails be transferred to another boat? I.E. If i were to sell them without the boat. Thanks for any advice....
