Greetings from Fred and Liz in Sarasota, FL

New to sailing and completely bitten by the sailing bug. We learned to sail here on the Sarasota Bay, and have been out 40 times in the last year. We're members of the Freedom Boat Club and were it not for limited boat availability, we would have sailed 75 times. We've been sailing a Catalina 25, but would like to get some experience on a larger boat.

Welcome to the community. My wife and I were married in Sarasota back in '70 and we've been sailing since that time. Keep us posted of your adventures!

Welcome aboard. I used to live on the Manatee river in Bradenton. You are in a great cruising area. Get to know folks at the yacht clubs and marinas there and more sailing opps will come your way.

Welcome aboard! I chartered a 30-ft. Catalina and sailed it on Sarasota Bay last year. We had great wind and a great day. If you're looking for crew at the end of October, I'll be back down for a wedding. *hint, hint*
