Greetings from Estonia/US/Spain

Hi everyone! I am an adventurous homeschooling mom to two children (6 & 8). I was born and raised in the US but have Estonian roots, and we have been living in Estonia for the past 3 years.

I lived on a sailboat years ago in the SF Bay, but never did much sailing. I've always had a bit of a travel bug, and recently have been longing to get out to sea again.

I keep finding these blogs from sailing families and would love to be able to discover and show my girls the world by boat.

Welcome to the Forum.
A great place and the sea is great for kids.

We'll be in Estonia twice this summer, in the first weeks of August.

Re: Greetings from Estonia/US/Spain

Hello and Welcome Aboard the Forum!

If you look down at the very bottom of the page (using a typical browser) you will see some similar threads with Estonia in the titles, including some introductions (in the past) by other Estonian sailors.

Also, there is a social group (a sub forum on this site) whose members are cruising with children:

Cruising with Kids Group (58 members)
Cruisers & Sailing Forums - Cruising with Kids

I think taking kids on a cruise would be a wonderful thing to do for a family and a great opportunity for the children.

Good luck making your dream come true.
