Greetings from Cyprus!!

Hi, I am a complete novice, and I don't even own a boat. I know that I suffer from sea-sickness, however, I'm sure I won't if I am at the controls.
I am looking for a boat that can cross the Atlantic, and to be a home.
Any suggestions?
My budget is pretty low.

Hi, my budget will stretch to $20,000, and I am willing to fly and buy. The boat has to be economical and easy to sail/drive/pilot.

I've just been looking at some sailing videos on you-tube, where there are storms ad it looks pretty scary, and there are about 8 crew, how easy are these boats to handle on my own?

Re: Greetings from Cyprus!!

as small boat like that is easy to handle on your own.
with bigger boats the difficulty comes when returning to a dock,so having a second person at the front makes tying up easier.

Once you understand the workings of a sailbaot and what ropes to pull and ease.. its a piece of cake..
