They measure the boats overall lenght and they put you in a slip that size or the next bigger... and charge you per foot I believe.
They also have on the hard storage for smaller boats with a ramp right there. Not sure what the max length is there though or pricing.

Depends upon the weather and the water temperature.

As you noted, we've had quite a bit of cold weather lately, and the bay temp is in the upper 50s. On the other hand, the Gulf is in the 70s. A run of warm weather will push the bay back into the mid or even upper 60s, making it a much more hospitable place.

But most nice weekends you will see quite a few boats out. Just not a lot of swimming...

I wasn't born in Texas but I'm getting there as fast as I can!
19 degrees (high), white out conditions and my truck is being pulled out of a snow drift
as I write... I am not happy with Kansas right now and ice stuck to the side of the keel of my sailboat is just not right!

That's OK, Julie and Mark said wind gusts were over 70 yesterday in the marina! Apparently, some of our Christmas lights ended up in our neighbor's rigging!
