Greetings from Aus

Hi there fellow forum members,

This is my first post and hopefully not the last. We, Wife, kids (3,5) and I are in the process of buying a 48' yacht. We are currently in Melbourne and in the process of relocating to Sydney for warmer weather and better access to sailing grounds.

The end plan being a cruise along the east coast to the Whitsunday isles as a minimum and hopefully a south pacific island trip. I'm sure I'll be asking plenty of questions over the coming year or two about equipment and general cruising knowledge.

Jim

Hey!

How very exciting! I bet you are all bursting with anticipation - a 40+ footer and better weather is one fine dangling carrot waiting at the end of a relocation.

Welcome to CF.

It sure helps and thanks for the welcome to both of you.

We lived in NZ for two years. Infact that was where our oldest was born.

Hi and welcome from Gosford.. remember to wave as you travel past.

Good time to be leaving. The Stiff Nor-easters have all but gone around here.
