Greetings from a new guy

Hi all,

Just signed up this week. I am hoping to get a chance to chat with folks who have recently been to some of the places that I plan to visit soon. I think I can learn way more from someone who was in Dominica (as an example) last week than I can from a cruising guide.

At the same time, I've done a bit of sailing about and have spent time as a rigger and sailmaker so hopefully I have something to offer in return.

Hi Grant,

I think I read somewhere that Cruiser's Forum has exceeded the quota for Canadians so you might have to get on a waiting list. While you're waiting practice your spelling and learn how properly write colour and harbour. Otherwise you will have to write a cheque to join.

Only kidding of course. Glad to see you here.

Howdy Grant! Welcome Aboard!

Dominica? Hmmm…sounds very good compared to snow and ice during the northern winter.

Happy sailing!
Ahoy All Sailors! Do you need experienced crew for a long voyage either coastal, Atlantic, Pacific, Caribbean, ICW, or across an ocean in 2016-2017? I am available. See my CF Profile "About Me" page for details. Happy to lend a hand!
