Greetings everyone: Ed - Brit resident in Brazil

Greetings to all. I am an English teacher resident in Rio de Janeiro (almost 8 years) and in the latter part of 2013, August onwards, I am available to crew on journeys leaving from any country in South America going to Europe or United States or anywhere for that matter. I am also available to crew from United States/Europe to South America.

I am looking to learn how to sail on this trip and would be willing to share expenses. I am a hard worker, get on with most people, fluent in Portuguese and speak basic Spanish.

Cheers!

E.

Re: Greetings everyone: Ed - Brit resident in Brazil

Bem-vindo meu amigo.

I used to work in Brasil from 99 to 01. Would fly into Sao Paulo, then the short flight to Rio every other month. Bus trip from Rio to Macae for the helicopter flight out to the oil rig. Worked for Noble Drilling and Petrobras.

Good luck on your future sailing, sounds like you are flexible. Here is a possibility for you http://www.cruisersforum.com/forums/...ml#post1132983
