Greetings Everyone !

Im very new to sailing but absolutely CANT wait to learn as much as possible. My dream is to live on the water and travel the world! Who wouldnt want an adventure like that???

When I was a boy my momma would send me down to the corner store with $1 and I would come back with 5 potatoes, 2 loaves of bread, 3 bottles of milk, a hunk of cheese, a box of tea and 6 eggs. Can't do that now, too many f**kn security cameras.

Welcome aboard from a boy from Tupelo who made it. I dreamed about living aboard and cruising since Junior High about 1950. We did it! Cruised away in May 1988 for a wonderful 18 years.

@Oldcal46skipper as im sure you realized this by my username but i go to school about 50 miles from tupelo at ole miss. And im going to fulfil this dream right after i plan my money situation and all the other important stuff. Im glad to hear its possible by anyone who puts there mind to it!

Christian,
You have a worthy goal (same as all of us)! Two ways to make it happen, of course. The fastest is to go the OPB route (other people's boats). You can gain a lot of experience for very little money. The other way is to work like hell, don't spend a dime, and eventually the sweet day comes when you acquire your own vessel (and then you start to spend even more)!
