Greetings & Salutations from Niels & Wendy!

Nice to meet you all ! *doffs his hat*

My partner (Wendy) and I live, in Zurich, Switzerland. We are currently fitting out "Artemis", a Dufour 425 which we are in the process of purchasing for an extended cruising period from Annapolis (after the boat show) to the Carribean via the Keys.

The plan is too get used to the boat on the Chesapeake to get used toto it and make any adjustments/changes before the longer to Florida later this year.

My Partners sabbatical is coming up as of November, so we intend to meet up at Key West (Margaritaville ) to kick things off in style!

This is our first yacht together, though not my first (Dehler 26 Cruiser).

Adventure and exporation await us!

With Kind Regards

N&W

Welcome aboard.

Zurich is one of my all time favorite cities. The lake... the other little beaches to the north, the river and stuff up toward Germany. Gorgeous place.

I'd trade a week of using my boat for a week at a house in Zurich any time.

Aloha Neils and Wendy,
Welcome aboard!! I've been through Zurich a few times and I really liked it. I was on my way to Lauterbrunnen and the Junfrau from Austria. Does that make sense? It was in the early 70s so my memory might be failing me. I do remember a marvelous museum there.
Congratulations on your new boat and most of all on your adventure.
Kind Regards,
JohnL
