Greetings all!

Greetings!

About two years ago I became slightly, then irreversibly, obsessed with travelling the world by sail. I found a new job where I could work from the boat, sold my house and miraculously met a girl (with her two incredible kids) that shared my vision and had previously lived on a 39' Ericson.

It didn't take long to find our baby in Everett, WA: an '83 Beneteau First 38 who had been lovingly cared for. We'll become liveaboards in May and start our travels by heading back up to Puget Sound for a few months then in a couple of years we'll point our bow towards Japan, to which our hearts have somehow already found passage.

As this dream continues to come true for us, we look forward to meeting many of you beautiful people along the way. Cheers!

WELCOME aboard, cuba.

I look forward to reading your journal or logs.
If your cruising reality can match your vision & your way with words, it should be an exceptional odyssey, exceptionally described.

Welcome aboard, Cuba. You've got this "go big or go home" thing down pretty good.

Computer junk...I'm a contract software developer. To be honest, I've wanted to do something else for quite a while but I'm not complaining because it pays the boat bills and allows me to roam. It's hard to ask for more than that!
