Re: Greetings

Take a few hands-on lessons, including a course in bare-boat chartering. Learn the ropes from old salts, but above all be patient. While earning the Coast Guard's "six pack" license is nice to have, you may want to go down the list and start learning some of the requirements. It is a good "syllabus" to follow. Sailing is much more fun when you plan and follow your objectives. Welcome aboard! Mauritz

Re: Greetings

Welcome, T-gun! Given your screen name, you may not be surprised to find LOTS of gun threads on various sailing forums, grin/wink.... but guns aren't the only topics that can spur minor differences of opinion among sailors....

Hi Tom... Welcome to CF
1 boat... 1 lesson... okay thats the first rung...
Do a search for Threads started by Black Oak... lots in there to study and make differents decisions...
With little knowledge/experience he bought a boat and set sail with Bermuda the destination... gripping stuff

Welcome aboard Tom. Once the sailing bug bites you're hooked.

Cheers
