Greetings

62 year old with 57 years of sailing boat experience - mostly Lasers, fireball, cats, J22 and Ross 30. Time for a sea change so was and am looking for a big liveaboard yacht or cat. Budget will depend on how much i sell my house for - around $200k. Wife doesnt like sailing - kids spend all their time on their phones. Built an Oppy when i was 8 with cotton sail - parents couldn't afford terylene. That came later. I want something that is good inside to suit the wife- easy to sail by one and half persons (coastal). Always wanted to do the around the world race - no opportunity, always wanted to do the Americas cup -lived in the wrong country and probably not good enough.But... Represented three countries in sail racing. Would be nice to put the bag (spinnaker) up again and get a reach. So opinions and advice on boats would be welcome. Sort of thinking Bavaria, Bene, along those lines. dont like dark gloomy boats. must be bright and breezy inside. Wife is Filipino so thats the region i want to muck around in but I also hold a British and NZ passport so can go anywhere really.
