Greenhorn Sailor

Hey everybody I just thought I would introduce myself. Well, my name is Jeff and I live in Texas and I'm brand new to sailing. Actually, my dad and I are going to start construction on a GlenL-13 style cat-rigged boat. I got into sailing because of an English Professor in college and my first time ever sailing will most likely be on my project-boat's maiden voyage. I'm still learning all the terms and equipment and I'm sure I'll have many questions in the upcoming months so I apologize in advance. I look forward to building and sailing and I will put up some pictures once I start building.

Aloha 101,
Welcome aboard!! Lots of friendly folks here willing to give advice and help with any questions you have concerning your boat building projects. Many of us started putting together boats just the way you are a few years ago so we don't mind helping.
Kind Regards,
JohnL

Welcome to the fold. I started sailing on Benbrook back in the '70s.
