Great to be here

Hello all
For a number of years I have been reading these forums and I thought it time to register and say thank you to all the members here who have provided me some great information and entertainment.
I am one of those sailors who does not classify themselves as a Cruiser or Racer, Mono or Multi huller, I like many like to adjust my outlook towards the type of boat that I am on at the time, participating in what ever I am participating in at the time. Thus maximising my enjoyment of this great pastime.
Cruising on G-whizz is restricted to day sailing with friends and family with the occasional 3-4 day jaunt up or down the coast out of Port Jackson. Most of our sailing is club racing G-whizz, or the occasional regatta on G-whizz or friend's yachts.
We do however like to keep G-whizz in "cruising trim" (It's not too onerous to change sails). and regularly overnight after a Twilight or a long race/après race get together. (by keeping in cruising trim pretty much all we have to do is put up the RFG, load on more provisions and put the anchor onto the bow roller).
Most of our cruising is on other's boats whether an overseas (normally somewhere in the Med) charter, a jaunt in the Whitsundays or the occasional longish delivery to help a friend out.
All that said ,thank you again for what I have read on these forums, it has helped me greatly in boat improvement/maintenance, made me a better sailor and given me much better appreciation of the greater world of sailing.
Thanks
Graeme
