belive me you will soon get used to t shirts n shorts 25-28c day n night temps,though you may never be able to live in scotland ever again.

every time im off on delivery it takes weeks to acclimatise to cornish weather when i get back,and thats mild next to scotland.

the med will be worse than the carib as you are more or less forced to use marinas,so less breeze,where as cruising you will either be underway or at anchor using your wind scoop .

plus going in the spring will give you a bit of time to acclimatise,have fun .

You'll notice that I have a 42 so a 43 is a bit large.
