Good Day and Hello All,

My name is Jon Harper and currently landlocked in Northport, AL. My wife (Rebecca) and I are just beginning to set out on the adventure to learn to sail and then purchase a cruiser to live aboard. We are soon to be empty nesters and looking forward to watching the sunrises and sunsets together along the beautiful Emerald Gulf Coast.

Re: Good Day and Hello All,

Welcome to CF gordotide. Good luck in your adventures. If you are looking for some sailing training, you can try some of the ASA courses at Northstar in Biloxi.

I took some of my trainging there although it looks like Roger Buenzow who owned Northstar has sold it to another gent.

All the Best!

Re: Good Day and Hello All,

Just joined myself today having returned from the Fast Track to Cruising course by Offshore Sailing. I can highly recommend this as a start to considering this as your vacation options. My husband and I loved it.
