Gidday from Australia

Hi,

The forums have been a great reference source for the past few years but I've been slow to post!

My name is Ana and I've been cruising aboard our Roberts Spray with Margot for the last 3 years. We bought our beautiful ketch in Tasmania 4 years ago (our first boat) and after 12 months learning to sail and understand her we quit our jobs, sold our stuff and made the jump. And haven't looked back!

Life aboard is fantastic! We are currently in the Moolalah River, north of Brisbane about to head further north.

Hi and welcome,
Keep your eye out for us. We are coming from Fiji to Bundaberg and then south to Melbourne, Yarringa boat harbour.
Be in Bundy about the middle of October.
Cheers,
Brian.

Be careful of the "Liveaboard rules" in Mooloolaba, otherwise, as you go up the coast, enjoy some of the best sailing and anchoring there is.

Re: Gidday from Australia

Mooloolaba is awesome. We stayed at Lawries Marina both times we sailed to Australia. It's one of my favorite places in Australia. Enjoy the trip north.

Re: Gidday from Australia

I met a couple with a Roberts Spray on Lake Macquarie a few months back; awesome boat that has at least done one circumnavigation. All the best with your beauty!
