hi everyone,
i joined up to learn, share info and meet people that enjoy sailing. i've worked around
australia fishing and skippering various types of boats, my last few years have been spent between the kimberley, arnhemland and out to melville island.
Now, i'm the proud owner of a "new" yacht, and am planning a trip from adelaide to newcastle for starters, after that i'm not too sure, but will most likely depend on where i'm working.
i had a stint for a few years in
sydney, on the north shore skippering on the harbour and pittwater. alot of good memories. i'm really looking forward to getting started again and despite feeling very rusty, i'm just looking forward to being back on the
water and doing some cruising to some new places. so, it'll be great to meet a whole bunch of new people and make some good friendships. that's one of the things i've enjoyed about working on the
water - the commradary.
Anyway, i'm also a qualified
carpenter and have a degree in aquaculture. i'm a professional
fishing guide woh enjoys the sport and the feed when i get the chance. i also enjoy surfing, guitar and
photography, again when i get the chance.
Right now i'm studying my master 4, so i'm busy. i have an med2, and master 5. so when i finish up in another few weeks i'll be chasing
work.
Ok, look forward to participating in the
forums and this site.
cheers jos
