G'day from Darwin, Australia

Hi All,
Good to be aboard after some years reading posts and searching for an IP address allowed by the registration process. As they say, "never give up"!

Our lovely "Zen Again" is a 34' ST10.4 designed by Japanese naval architect Ken Hayashi. Built in Japan in 1986 and sailed far and wide by her previous owners. As the current custodians we have sailed her north from Batemans Bay in New South Wales to Darwin. This year we hope to explore SE Asia with Sail Timor Leste and Sail Indonesia.
Cheers,
Mike and Nic.

Welcome aboard Mike & Nic,
Try to get to the Banda Islands east(ish) of Ambon. IMHO they are the jewel of Indonesia

Hi Wotname,
Thanks. Banda is indeed on the itinerary. Bring on the end of the cyclone season so we can escape the marina...
cheers,
Mike.

Gday Waterway Guide, SkiprJohn and Pelagic,
Thanks for the welcomes and aloha!

Not sure we'll make it to the Philippines, but will report on our travels towards East Timor, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. After a break in Thailand we hope to head towards South Africa and beyond.

Our boat visited Hawaii in 1992 on its return to Japan from a circumnavigation of South America. She has crossed the Pacific 4 times. We know we are the weakest link on this boat!

See our blog for more info on the boat's history and our recent travels and ongoing refit.
Cheers,
Mike.
