Gadfly II is goin' cruisin...!

Howdy, I'm new to the forum, found it yesterday doing a search for "firearms on Sailboats". Lots of great information here! Will be cruising for a few years and intermitently some time on land. Is there a spot on this forum for folks to "trade" properties while cruising? (i.e. I have a small rustic cabin in Alaska about 1.5 miles from the coast on the Kenai Peninsula that won't be used for quite some time. Maybe someone on the Gulf Coast of Florida wants to spend a winter in Alaska and would like to trade for the use of a slip...?) Haven't seen any threads like this, hope it's not considered commercial...

Well actually it is so post it in the classifieds section.

Seems like a tough trade but you never do know. I have a neighbor that is going to trade his house here in VA for Feb for a month in Hawaii. Seems the folks from Hawaii actually need to be here in the worst time of the year. Things happen and move is large circles we all don't understand.

Enjoy the landscape here as there is alot here to tempt your brain until you can escape. Don't forget that getting out of port is the hardest part of the journey.

Aloha,
Welcome aboard!! Hope you find what you're looking for here in the forum. I think the cabin trade for a slip is great. Wish I had a slip to trade.
Kind Regards,
JohnL
