Wink G´day sailors... ,-)

Hey, how is it going?

My name is Michael... actually a german bloke but i think my heart can´t decide where i am from...
I lifed in Spain for a while and then started travelling... The year became a year and a half... the year and a half became two years... lets see how it keeps going!
To be honest i got no idea about sailing, but dreaming of it since years... tried to make a course in germany, but it never worked out... then again in Australia... but there it was too expensive (i was travelling on budget...)... i almost got a lift from Darwin to Indonesia, but in the end the skipper found someone with more experience...
Well, right now i am Colombia tryingto to use my hospitality qualifications to get on a cruiser or something to get some first experience...
Thats why i am here, to get some informations, maybe finding people with the same history, who got further already...
Cheers to all of you!

Michael

Aloha Michael,
Welcome aboard! Sign up on a crew list and see if you can get a ride on some of the sailing craft there.
Tschuess,

If you cant get onto a crew list, it is normally much cheaper to get a dinghy sailing ticket, and that is a great way to learn the sailhanding part.
